Community & Family Experiences

Community is at the heart of this work.

Alongside workshops and retreats, I offer accessible creative spaces designed to foster connection, reflection, and shared presence - without pressure, performance, or perfection.

These offerings are intentionally low-barrier and community-centered, creating space to gather, create, and reconnect in ways that feel grounded and human.

Offerings range from free community creative circles to guided journaling gatherings ($30) and occasional collaborative wellness events with pricing that varies.

Full details, dates, and registration are shared below and on our events page.

  • Community events may vary in format and focus, and can include:

    • Creative Sanctuary Circles
Free, open community gatherings offering a judgment-free space to create, connect, or simply be. Materials are provided, and participants are welcome to bring their own creative projects.

    • Guided Journaling Gatherings
Low-cost, facilitated sessions using art-based journaling prompts curated by board-certified art therapists. These gatherings offer gentle structure, reflection, and emotional insight in a supportive group setting.

    • Collaborative Wellness Events
Special offerings co-hosted with wellness practitioners or local organizations, integrating creativity with practices that support nervous system regulation, embodiment, and overall well-being.

  • These gatherings are open to adults and families who are looking for a creative outlet and a space where they can feel welcomed and at ease.

You don’t need to consider yourself an artist, writer, or “creative” to belong here. These spaces are for anyone who wants to slow down, explore creativity in their own way, and spend time in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

Whether you come to create, reflect, connect with others, or simply take a pause from daily life, you are welcome here.

Monthly Community events

Guided Art journaling series

Starting June, guided art journaling at The Hive is getting a refresh. Five sessions, five themes, one intentional arc — designed to take you somewhere by October.

Each month we go a little deeper. We start by building your own color-emotion wheel, then move into mapping your emotional landscape, locating where you hold things in your body, looking at what has held you up, and finally giving yourself permission to want things again.

You can join for one session or commit to all five. Either way, you will leave with something real.

Arrive. Feel. Locate. Reclaim. Reach.

A gentle, guided journaling session held twice a month in Parker, CO.

These one-hour gatherings invite reflection through creative expression in a calm, supportive space. No art or journaling experience needed.

Saturday Morning session: All ages welcome (children 10 and under are free with an adult) Wednesday Evening session: Adults only

Second Annual Prairie Blooms Gardening Event

May 16th, 2026 | Pollywog Station Lavender Farm

Date: Saturday May 16th
Location: Pollywog Station Lavender Farm - 8717 Hilltop Rd. Parker
Time: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Prairie Blooms is back for its second year at Pollywog Station Lavender Farm in Parker, and it's the kind of morning that makes you remember why you love spring. Wander through a Native Plant Demonstration Garden, watch honeybees at work in the Observation Hive, and get your hands dirty alongside gardening experts, local makers, and community organizations who are all there to share what they love.

The Art Alchemy Studio will be there too, with a simple, grounding activity called ‘Seeds of Intention’, where you'll paint a meaningful word onto a garden stake to take home and press into the soil alongside whatever you're planting this season.

All ages welcome. Come curious.

A Place to Land: BUNDLE
$150.00

You arrive. You breathe. You make something with your hands — guided, at your own pace, with no pressure. Each session is two hours of being fully in one moment, one theme, one quiet creative experience.

I will guide you through. I will hold space for you. There's no wrong way to do this, no finished product you're working toward, and no experience required. Just you, the materials, and that moment.

Curiosity, not expectation. That's the only thing to bring.

This is for you if:

  • You're carrying something and could use a few hours of quiet, guided creative time

  • You've never made art before and you're curious what that's even like

  • You want to be around people without having to perform being okay

  • You're navigating a transition and want a steady, low-pressure place to reflect

The sessions

Each session stands completely on its own. Come to one, come to a few, or follow the full arc — all five together form a journey from the ground up.

June 23 - Rooted

Grounding, stability, and a sense of landing in the present moment

June 30 - Flow

Movement, ease, and allowing things to shift without force

July 7 - Holding

Care, containment, and noticing what supports us

July 14 - Strength

Steadiness, structure, and inner support

July 21 - Growth

Patience, tending, and noticing what is beginning.

Each session is $35. Complete the journey — $150 for all five. Each session stands alone, but together they form an arc: from the ground up, from stillness to movement, from carrying to growing. Save $25 with the full series bundle.

What's included: All art materials, guided facilitation, and the company of people who also chose to show up. You leave with what you made — and what that means to you.
