About The Art Alchemy Studio

If you’ve landed here, there’s a good chance you’re craving something slower, quieter, and more real.

The Art Alchemy Studio is a space for women to pause, breathe, and reconnect through creativity - without pressure, comparison, or the need to be “good” at anything. It’s about showing up as you are and letting creativity meet you there.

Some offerings are just for women. Some are open to families and the wider community. All of them are held with care, intention, and respect for where you are in your life.

Hi, I’m Dhruvi

I’m really glad you’re here.

This work grew out of my own lived experience. I live with ADHD, I’ve moved through trauma, and for a long time I carried a lot of anxiety and overwhelm without really knowing how to slow down.

During the quiet of 2020, I picked up a paintbrush - not to make art for anyone else, but just to feel something again. What I found was relief, clarity, and a way back to myself that didn’t require explaining or fixing anything.

That experience changed me. And eventually, it became the heart of this studio.

So many women I meet are holding a lot.

They’re caring for others. Navigating transitions. Trying to stay afloat while staying connected to who they are. Often, there isn’t much space to just be.

Creativity creates that space.

Not to produce something beautiful - but to listen, release, play, and reconnect. Sometimes words help. Sometimes color, texture, or movement say more than words ever could.

This work is about creating for the sake of honesty and joy. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Why I Do This Work

I hold a Master’s in Education in Counseling and have spent over a decade working in mental-health-informed spaces. I’m also a professional artist and have trained alongside board-certified art therapists in creative processes that support emotional awareness and reflection.

What I offer is not therapy - and I’m clear about that. But it is thoughtful, trauma-aware, and held with responsibility. My role is to guide, support, and create a space where you feel safe to explore whatever comes up for you.

My Background

This work is for women who are looking for:

  • a creative outlet that feels grounding, not intimidating

  • space to reconnect with themselves

  • community that feels warm and non-judgmental

Some gatherings are open to families and caregivers, and those are always clearly labeled. No matter the format, everything is designed to be choice-based and respectful of individual boundaries.

You don’t need to be an artist. You don’t need to know what you’re “working on.” You just need curiosity and a willingness to show up.

Who This Is For

Art alchemy is about transformation - not of the artwork, but of the inner experience.

It’s taking whatever you’re carrying and letting it move, shift, soften, or reveal something new through the creative process. It’s not about fixing yourself. It’s about remembering who you are underneath the noise.
