A Little Bit About Me…

Hi! My name is Dhruvi, the founder of The Art Alchemy Studio, and I’m so glad you are here.

I’ve always believed that when something inside us begins to stir - when we feel stuck, lost, or simply longing for more - it’s often a call to return to ourselves. For me, that return began with art.

I live with ADHD and I’m a survivor of trauma, so I know what it’s like to carry the weight of anxiety and depression. When the world shut down in 2020, I was left alone with emotions I had spent years trying to outrun. That period cracked something open.

I picked up a paintbrush - and everything began to shift.

Art became more than just a creative outlet. It became a companion. A mirror. A way back to myself. Through color, shape, and expression, I slowly began to reclaim parts of me I thought I had lost.

With my M.Ed in Counseling, personal healing, and a deep respect for the creative process, I started holding space for others to do the same. I trained with a licensed Art Therapist and became certified in using art as a therapeutic tool through the Paint From Your Soul™ method.

While I’m not a licensed Art Therapist, my work is rooted in years of study, lived experience, and a heartfelt belief in the healing power of creativity.

That’s what led me to create The Art Alchemy Studio - a space where art and inner work meet. A space where you don’t need to be an artist, or have the right words, or even know where to start. Just a willingness to show up - to feel, to explore, and to begin.

Because healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about remembering who you are.

What is Art Alchemy?

Art Alchemy is the transformative process of using creative expression - such as painting, drawing, or mixed media - as a way to transmute emotions, experiences, and inner stories into insight, healing, and personal growth.

Just as alchemy turns base metals into gold, art alchemy turns pain, confusion, or stagnation into beauty, clarity, and empowerment.

It blends art-making, intuitive wisdom, and emotional processing to help you access deeper parts of yourself, creating space for inner change and energetic shift.

It’s not about the end product - it’s about the process of revealing, releasing, and reconnecting.
